ORDERING AND POLICIES
There are three ways to place an order with THE STITCHING POST.
1. Use the website ordering system. Choose your product/s and click 'add to cart'.
Follow the directions for completing the order.

ONLINE ORDERING You can order online by completing the Qty (Quantity Box) or indicating what fabric yardage you require or how many fat quarters you may want and then clicking on "add item to cart" on the products you wish to purchase. e.g. if you want one and half metres of fabric type in 1 metre and 1 half metre..
We use a secure server that will protect your credit card number against illegal use, however if you wish to pay by credit card but would prefer to send the details then send us your details and order requirements by email or phone (see address and phone numbers above)

PAYMENT METHODS
- Payment may be made by Visa, MasterCard, cheque or internet banking. If paying by internet banking contact us for bank account details.
- If paying by cheque, please make it out to The Stitching Post and allow five working days for the funds to clear before the order is sent. All instructions for payment are on the ordering page on the shopping cart.
SHIPPING In most cases orders will be filled within 48 hours, provided stock is on hand. As soon as we receive your order, we will notify you if we do not have stock currently available. Once your order is complete and ready to send we will find the most economical and efficient way to send it to you, and email you a separate invoice for the freight.
As soon as this is paid, your order will be sent.
If there are any delays of over a week we will notify you by email. You will not be charged postage on back orders.
Please note that we will ship your items to you by the cheapest method.
New Zealand customers - your order will be sent in a postage bag depending on size. ($3.50, $4.50, $5.50 up to $9.00) Larger orders will be couriered.
International orders will be shipped by NZ Post International Air Services. Approx delivery time 5-10 working days.
The international rates includes Insurance coverage for parcels up to NZ$2000 in value.
ORDER CONFIRMATION All orders will be confirmed within 48 hours. Email enquiries will be answered promptly.
RETURNS POLICY
Fabrics...Due to the fact that most fabrics will be cut, we do not offer a return policy UNLESS the fabric is faulty or the product differs from what you ordered.
Yarn...Should you find fault with the yarn, or have been sent the wrong Batch Number or Colour, please email us and a replacement will be sent if possible or a refund given. Return postage will also be refunded.
For all other items, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase just email us and we will endeavour to put right any problems..
Missing/damaged parcels .Any parcel that is posted within New Zealand and is damaged upon delivery, in order for a claim to be made, you must notify me in writing/email within seven days of receiving your parcel.
If a parcel is not delivered we can claim via NZ Post for non-delivery. However NZ Post will not be liable for parcels posted for delivery within New Zealand unless you let me know, in the case of non-delivery, within 14 days of receiving your shipping email.
Or for overseas parcels 28 days in the case of non-delivery of any international postal item.
